Many of the problems people face today have to do with finances and how to better manage them. As a ministry of Grace Community Church, we would like to offer a free financial service to individuals or families as a way of outreach. A team of individuals who have skills in practical financial helps is being formed to meet this need.
Goals
- To give biblical direction to families & singles on how to manage their finances wisely.
- To develop methods to get out of debt.
- Teach how to design a plan or budget, and set reachable goals to be debt free.
- To help people see that paying monthly minimum payments is the world’s way to ride the rollercoaster of debt, not God’s way to be freed from bondage.
- To learn how to save and spend wisely.
Opportunities
- We are looking for people who have skills in money management and can help others discover basis principles of spending and saving. It will involve practical ways to reduce debt, plan and live within a budget and a common sense approach of how to purchase needs wisely.
Critical Needs
Individuals to do the financial counseling. If you have been trained through the Crown Financial Seminar, you are already there. Otherwise, we can provide you with materials and training to get you started. Contact Rick with questions.
